Job Description

Job Duties:
1) Establish methods to meet work schedules
2) Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
3) Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
4) Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
5) Hire food service staff
6) Ensure food service and quality control
7) Prepare budget and cost estimates
8) Address customers’ complaints or concerns
9) Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
10) Prepare and submit reports
11) Prepare food order summaries for chef
12) Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
13) Supervise and check assembly of trays
14) Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
15) Establish work schedules
