We, 1049035 Alberta Ltd. o/a Edo Japan, are looking for a food service supervisor (permanent / full time position) who can join our professional team!

Job title: food service supervisor (NOC 65201)
Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Wage: $18 to $19 per hour for 30-40 hours a week
Location: Stewart Green SW, Calgary, AB T3H 3C8
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
ï‚Ÿ Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of store staff
ï‚Ÿ Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment from customers, also, balance cash and record sales
ï‚Ÿ Provide outstanding food and customer service
ï‚Ÿ Place orders to vendors for required supplies, when needed
ï‚Ÿ Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the food service establishment
ï‚Ÿ Assist in the process of hiring of new staff, when necessary
ï‚Ÿ Train new employees in workplace safety, sanitation and job duties
ï‚Ÿ Resolve customer complaints in a smooth and professional manner
ï‚Ÿ Perform daily inventory counts and keep records of both necessary and wasted supplies/stock
ï‚Ÿ Assist in the development process of company procedures and policies
ï‚Ÿ Other duties as assigned by the manager/owner

Work conditions and physical capabilities
ï‚Ÿ Fast paced environment, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Position Requirements and Qualifications
ï‚Ÿ Secondary (senior high) school Diploma
ï‚Ÿ 1-2 years of work experience in food service/handling industry
ï‚Ÿ Previous experience in a supervisory role
ï‚Ÿ Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills
 Client focus; Team player – positive, reliable, and motivated
