STONEMASON/BRICKLAYER
Due to business expansion and upcoming construction projects, Teknisk Masonry. - a company specialized in Masonry & Bricklaying in Abbotsford, BC is looking for an experienced Stonemason.

Position is permanent and full-time (40 hr per/wk) $36.00/hr.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Read the blueprints and sketches to estimate the needed materials
• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to form a residential or commercial interiors settlements such as fireplaces, chimneys
• Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
• Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing to walls or other surfaces
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
• Physically strong and able to manipulate heavy objects

Job Description

Requirement:
• Education: Secondary high school
• 1+ years of experience in similar setting or completion of a 3 to 4-year apprenticeship program.
