Position: Sales associate
Vacancies: 2
Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $16-19.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 735 10 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0B3
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Greet customers when they enter the store
• Answer customer questions to help them find the items they are looking for
• Suggesting new items or providing advice to customers based on the selections
• Operate cash registers and other equipment
• Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure merchandise is neat and clean and ready to be displayed
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Secondary school diploma
• Previous retail experience (1-7 months or more)
• Ability to build and maintain a good relationship with customers/vendors;
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills;
• Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills, Team player, Reliability, Organized, Accurate, Flexibility
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
