Job Details
In this role you will be a valued member of Maintenance team, working in a permanent, full-time positions of Mechanic Helper, reporting to the Director of Mechanical. This position requires someone who is safety-conscious, production oriented, and self-motivated to help perform a variety of tasks to assist in smooth operation of the shop, and on the go. This position is required to provide services to on-the-road automotive and mechanical troubled vehicles. Successful candidates must have general knowledge and familiarity with the mechanics and automotive parts, as well as the ability to operate the manual and power tools for mechanical services.

Your base location will be Newmarket, ON and may require some travel throughout our great province.

Job Description
Assist the Mechanic in repairing, maintaining and installing Automotive machinery parts, move tools & equipment to and from workshop work areas clean and maintain workshop areas, perform work related helper activities according to the mechanic’s directions.

• Automotive, Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport repair/maintenance experience is an asset
• ON Driver’s License, minimum Class 5. Class 3 with Air is an asset
• Ability to take direction and learn daily
• Capable of performing heavy physical duties
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritizes safety of self and team
