At Leah’s Nail Lounge we set ourselves above the rest by being ahead of the industry. We are Beauty Safe Certified which means we follow all health standards for sanitation in BC to provide you with a healthy and clean service.

At Leah’s Nail Lounge we use polish that is free of dibutyl phthalate, toluene and formaldehyde, which are linked to asthma and allergic reactions. All of our lotions applied during our services are Organic and cruelty free so you can relax and enjoy them being massaged into your hands and feet.

We are currently looking for a permanent and full-time supervisor at our salon.

Skills and Experiences:
- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of a nail program certification is STRONG ASSET
- Must have a minimum 2 - 3 years of practical experience as a nail art technician
- Ability to work with hard gel nail products
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Work well as part of a team

Language:
- Communication skills in English

Work Location: 1107 14th St W, North Vancouver, BC V7P 1J9

Compensation: $22.00/hour, 4% vacation pay, health benefits after 3-month probation (dental coverage , eye exams and glasses, massage and sports therapy, life insurance and travel insurance)

Job Description

Duties:
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to the business owner
- Train staff in job duties, health and safety procedures, and company policies
- Answer the phone, reply to text messages, communicate with clients through social messaging apps to book appointments
- Co-ordinate appointments, assign and review the work of nail technicians
- Requisition supplies and materials for nail spa salon
- Ensure smooth operation of salon equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
- Perform the same duties as nail technicians when and as necessary
