JTB International (Canada) Ltd. is the Canadian operating division of one of the world’s largest travel companies, JTB Corp., based in Japan. We are Canada's largest inbound tour operator serving the Japanese market and one of the largest handling inbound travel from the Asia Pacific.

We are currently looking for two permanent full-time Travel Clerk Supervisors to join our team.

Education, Skills and Experiences:
- Completion of college courses related to the tourism and/or international relations is strong asset
- Experience in tour operations in Canada and sales in Japanese Market
- Strong computer skills in Excel and Word, Email and Internet Research
- Customer Service oriented, attention to details and strong mathematical skills,
- Professional telephone manners, people oriented

Language:
- Strong communication skills in English required, both written and verbal, as the position requires email and phone communication with local Canadian suppliers.
- Fluency in Japanese an asset, as the position may require email exchange, phone communication with Sales offices in Japan and Japanese-speaking clients and providing customer services for clients from Japan at the frontline.

Compensation and benefit:
- $23.50 / hour, 4% vacation pay

Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work of travel clerks / travel consultants
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to the management team
- Train staff in job duties and company policies
- Ensure smooth operation of computer systems
- Identify the training needs of staff and report them to the management.
- Assist staff in booking airline tickets, accommodations, and transportation tickets utilizing computer reservation systems
- Establish work schedule and procedures
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
-Coordinate with other section to ensure smooth operations.
-Perform work in a timely manner based on productivity and cost effectiveness.
