Job Description
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the store team, supporting and communicating with them daily.
Training the new sales staff and monitoring their progress/difficulties
Maintain and supervise if the store is organized, tidy, and well stocked following our Merchandising guidelines.
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of stock, the wholesale and online ordering process.
Answering phone calls and emails of customers’ demands/feedback and staff requests.
Support daily operations by administrating tasks and assisting the office team.
Administrate and perform the cash procedures (opening/closing)
Carry out office tasks as needed, such as maintaining and ordering office supplies, data entry, return and exchange requests, etc.
Identify customers' needs and expectations by providing them with the best experience possible.
Provide customers with adequate, in-depth information about our merchandise.
Report customers’ special requests and complaints.
Coordinate and organize the stock replenishment.
Keep track of inventory and provide feedback to the Sales Director on a weekly basis.
Prepare orders for curbside pickup and ship when applicable.
Process merchandise through our register system.
Occasionally work weekends as directed.
Qualifications and Assets
A college diploma in business, merchandising/retail or equivalent is an asset.
At least one year of proven office and administrative experience is required.
At least one year of proven retail experience – especially in the fashion industry – is required.
At least one year of proven Supervisor/Coordinator experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of all MS Office applications and QuickBooks is required.
Experience with WooCommerce and Lightspeed is a plus.
Attention to detail and accuracy, along with analytical, administrative, and strong organizational skills emphasizing priorities.
Strong oral and written communication with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work cohesively in a team and independently under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.
Ability to multi-task.
Passionate about style and design.
Weekend Availability is a plus.
Must legally be allowed to work in Canada.
