Job Description
Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train and schedule housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, coordinating activities, and providing ongoing feedback to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Monitor the cleanliness and condition of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and toiletries, ensuring all supplies are fully stocked and stored in an organized manner.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
• Develop, implement and follow cleaning processes and apply best practices to the housekeeping department to work in an efficient manner.
• Report any maintenance issues and arrange for maintenance technician to complete the work.
• Communicate clearly with other housekeepers, and general team members to ensure smooth operations at the hotel.
Employment Requirements:
• Strong understanding of housekeeping needs of a hotel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• High attention to detail
• Team player
• At least two years of experience in a supervisory position
• Ability to communicate in English
