Jenga Homes Inc. is looking for a full-time Civil Engineering Technician to join our busy team.

Position: Civil Engineering Technician
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Morning, Day
Hourly Wage: $30
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 1803 60 St SE, Calgary, Alberta, T2B 0M5
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and schedule work for various projects
• Conduct site surveys and compile information about proposed project sites
• Prepare blueprints and specifications for the project or components
• Maintain project budgets by estimating material needs and costs
• Communicate with contractors during project execution
• Inspect construction sites and monitor contractor activities throughout the project
• Perform material testing throughout the planning and construction process including taking soil samples and analyzing them, as well as conducting tests on construction materials and elements
• Prepare progress reports; Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
• Oversee the day-to-day work on a job site and resolve contractor issues and other problems that may arise

Requirements:
- College/CEGEP in civil engineering technology
- Previous (1-2 years) work experience in related field
- Efficient interpersonal skills, Organized, Team player
