Lekker Food Distributors Ltd. is seeking a Night Shift Consolidation Supervisor for our Richmond location.
Permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $24.04 per hour. Benefits include group insurance.
Standard 8-hour shift for this position could be scheduled anytime between 11:00pm to 7:30 am (Monday through Friday) as required.

Job Description

Duties:

• Sort loads for driver deliveries;
• Load delivery trucks;
• Ensure the proper flow of products into and out of the warehouse;
• Pick, ship and receive orders;
• Schedule and allocate work to employees to ensure orders will be picked;
• Packed and shipped in an efficient manner;
• Ensure standard productivity and error standards are consistently met;
• Conduct training of new hires when required;
• Oversee and delegate tasks to a team of warehouse employees;
• Conduct periodic checks of inventory levels, supplies and warehouse equipment;
• Oversee warehousing and storage of freight;
• Oversee company policies and industry regulations are followed, ensure staff;
• Compliance with workplace safety;
• Perform administrative, computer, and other clerical tasks;
• Other general warehouse duties.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or related industry is required;
• Previous working experience in a pick and pack warehouse environment;
• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse environment;
• A positive attitude/demeanor and is self-motivated;
• Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail;
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills;
• A commitment to a team environment and workplace safety;
• Experience handling warehouse equipment (i.e., forklift, reach truck, counterbalance);
• The ability to work in a refrigerated or freezer environment for duration of shift;
• English language ability is required.
