Job Description
Kotu Management also known as Crack On Food Truck is a Vancouver-based food business specializing in the craft of gourmet sandwiches. Our food is characterized by unique design, exceptional craftsmanship, and an obsessive attention to detail. Company is located at 1370 East Georgia St.. in Vancouver, BC and the work place depends on the booked location around Lower Mainland. We currently looking for 1 (one) food service supervisor who can join our team as soon as possible. This is a full time (40 hours), permanent position for mature individuals with a related background and/or experience. We offer competitive wage rate. All applicants should be able to communicate in English. However given the demographics in Lower Mainland, ability to communicate in a second language will be an asset.

As a food service supervisor you will supervise workers who prepare, portion and serve food. This role will perform all but not limited to the following duties:
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• May plan van menus
• Other duties as required

Job Requirements

Education/ Work Experience
• Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
or
• Min. 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required

Essential Skills
• Ability to work with precision
• Have great organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in fast paced environment
• Be punctual, reliable and meet the tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Own valid driver’s licence required

Compensation:
- Salary: $21 per hour
- Vacation: 10 days per year
