Our large public sector client is seeking a Business Analyst to support an enterprise-scale project
Job Description
Desirable skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Proficiency with Agile methodology and project management tools such as JIRA
- Proven ability to elicit, translate, validate, communicate, negotiate and manage requirements through techniques such as interviews, walk-throughs, surveys, use cases, specifications, and modeling
- Experience scoping a project/program to meet business needs
- Can identify, define, communicate, and negotiate for solutions (technical, business process/procedural, etc.) that will maximize the value delivered by an organization or business unit to its stakeholders
- Experience acting as communication conduit between the stakeholders and the project/program team
- Experience translating technical and architectural issues so that project/program stakeholders can understand and make effective decisions
- Has assisted in the drafting user acceptance tests/cases, and liaise between testing resources and stakeholders
- Experience representing stakeholders on the project/program
- Can identify and model processes, data, and business rules
Nice to have:
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
