Company Description: Buffet to Go is a restaurant that offers a fusion of traditional Chinese and Canadian dishes. We provide a variety of services, including dine-in, take-out, catering, and delivery. We are currently seeking a purchaser to join our team. Under the direction of the owner, the personnel is responsible for providing procurement and supply chain support to the team through the day-to-day purchasing and supplier management processes.

The job responsibilities of this position are as follows:

1. Purchase equipment, furnishings, supplies, and other necessary materials for multiple locations.

2. Assess the needs of each location and develop detailed specifications to ensure product consistency and quality.

3. Negotiate the best prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to balance cost efficiency and quality.

4. Collect and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers, selecting the best options based on price, quality, and delivery terms.

5. Define and agree upon specific terms and conditions of purchase contracts to meet operational requirements.

6. Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure a timely and efficient supply of materials and equipment, tracking progress to address any delays or issues.

7. Maintain communication with suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality, ensuring smooth operations.

Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent negotiation experience.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, statistics knowledge and experience required.
Good computer skills in MS Office software, document filing/measurability system implementation.
