We, IBII Construction Inc, are looking for passionate candidates for the position of a full-time Tilesetter.

Position: Tilesetter (NOC 73101)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours
Hourly Wage: $27-29
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: #11-5970 Island Hwy W Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 2E1

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces for tile installation
• Mix and apply mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using a hand trowel
• Create rough plans and sketches for tile layouts
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools
• Align and straighten tiles for precise placement
• Install tile strips and pack grout into joints, removing excess grout
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
• Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite
• Estimate costs and materials for projects
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school
• Training will be provided; work experience or certificate of apprenticeship program or college diploma related to tilesetting as an asset
• Physical capability of performing duties
• Accurate, Client focus, Team player, Reliability
