We, R&B BeautyPro, are looking for permanent, full-time Nail Salon Supervisor to join our busy team in Calgary!
Position: Nail Salon Supervisor (NOC: 62029)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Flexible hours (morning, day, afternoon, evening, weekend), TBD
Hourly Wage: $30.00 per hour
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Bay 2231, 2213 Centre St NW, Calgary AB T2E 2T4
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Responsible for overseeing the overall day to day shop operation
• Responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of beauty and other equipment such as computers, POS system, etc. and arranging for maintenance and repair work
• Supervise and co-ordinate appointments, work schedules and work activities of staff (technicians, receptionists, etc.)
• Approach with the best possible solutions when encountered with potential conflicts/issues, such as customer complaints
• Delegate workloads to staff workers
• Generate and submit reports on sales for review
• Monitor, and develop the quality of beauty and customer service
• Perform nail care/art service to customers when needed
• Assist in the process of hiring/recruitment and training of new staff if needed
• Keep the work area clean
• Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Secondary school graduation; Certificate/Previous training in a related field as an asset
• 7-12 months of work experience at a nail/beauty salon
• Knowledge and familiarity in nail care and art or other esthetic services
• Ability to build and maintain good relationship with customers
• Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills
• Team player – positive, organized, reliable and motivated; Client focus
