Skills and Experiences:
- Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier is required.
- Japanese merchandise knowledge is an asset
- Effective interpersonal skill

- Completion of secondary school

Compensation:
$22.60/hour, 4% vacation pay

Job Description

Job Duties:
• Supervise and organize retail sales clerks’ work schedule.
• Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
• Sell merchandises to customers
• Explain Japanese merchandises to customers when necessary
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandises to suppliers
• Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new retail sales clerks
