The Health Care Aide (HCA) reports to the Director of Care and/or designate and provides person served holistic and quality care. The HCA at our communities is an integral member of the team, performing their role in accordance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining the rights of residents and ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity

Job Description

dressing, bathing, and grooming patients
serving meal trays, feeding or assisting in feeding patients
taking blood pressure, temperature and pulse at regular intervals
helping move patients in wheelchairs or who need assistance throughout the facility
making beds and helping maintain patients’ rooms
collecting specimens such as urine or blood and taking them to be tested
carrying messages, reports and requisitions between departments or doctors
helping set up equipment, maintaining a sterile environment
