Job Duties:
• Supervise activities of chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods for the main dining room, rooftop, snack house, brunch and large party menus
• Create decorative food displays for guests and at special events
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Create new recipes
• May plan menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies
• May prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• May oversee requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 30 hours of work per week
