G-Men at Steveston Ramen Shop is seeking a Kitchen Manager for their Richmond location.

Full-time, permanent; $28.85 per hour; 30-40 hours per week.
Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position are from 10am - 10pm.

Job Description

Duties:
- Opening and closing the restaurant, as needed;
- Attend management meetings for new menu and promotional items;
- Supervise and schedule kitchen staff and food attendants
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries;
- Interview potential employees for new positions;
- Provide on-the-job training for new kitchen and food attendants
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and food wastage, estimate and submit requests for new ingredients and supplies for restaurant operation;
- Ensure that food and service meet sanitation, health and quality control standards.

Qualifications:
- Secondary school graduation is required;
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in food preparation or service OR a college diploma in hospitality management or related field;
- English language ability is required;
- Japanese language ability is an asset.
