This position will be responsible for inspecting, grading, sorting, and processing non-ferrous scrap metals in order to achieve operational goals and objectives. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, the control and care of the industrial forklift and skid steer equipment which is used for shipping, receiving, and production purposes.

Day: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Nights: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Monday-Friday

-OR-

Afternoons: 4pm – 3:45am Monday to Friday and 7am – 12pm Saturday
Job Description
What we expect you to do:

Handling the recycling process flow including material quality
inspection
• Grading and sorting of scrap metal
• Ensuring smooth running of scrap through the recycling
equipment by performing mechanical adjustments as per
company standards
• Providing regular reports on quality of material to Shift
Supervisor
• Controlling and managing industrial forklifts and skid steer
equipment used for shipping, receiving and production
purposes
• Undertaking preventative and general maintenance as
directed by Supervisor
• Maintaining the work area in a clean mannerYou will perform the duties and responsibilities associated with your

You have:

Previous scrap metal experience is preferred but not required;
Forklift and Skid Steer experience preferred but not required
