We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for understanding customer needs.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Greet Customers and provide quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and in writing at all times.
• Help customers choose the right products by understanding their preferences and needs.
• Provide advice on how to use and care for products, including specialized items.
• Share information about prices, payment options, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare products for purchase.
• Process sales, rental, and handle payments (cash, cheque, credit card, or debit).
• Set up and maintain attractive product displays.
• Keep accurate sales records to manage inventory effectively.
• Use computerized systems to track inventory and restock as needed.
• Handle online sales and assist with e-commerce transactions when necessary.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to form strategies to reach individual and team sales targets
• Commit to becoming and remaining knowledgeable about products and services offered as well as industry trends
• Engage and participate in occasional promotional videos and photos
• Attend occasional community events as a representative of Inglis Jewellers
• Commit to learning and reviewing repair processes and pricing structures (Geller book)
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook or as instructed by head office/management
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
• Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start time
• Assist in opening and/or closing procedures (if scheduled for opening/closing time)

Requirements:
• Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Education: High school diploma.
• Experience: Experience is an asset
Job Details:
• Type: Full-time.
• Hours: 40–45 hours per week.
• Salary: $39,000 annually, plus commission.
• Benefits: Company-matched RRSP and a group health plan.
• Location: 620 Coverdale Rd, Riverview, NB.
• Schedule: Five shifts per week from the following:
o Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
o Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
o Sunday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (during the six weeks before Christmas)
