Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of newborn during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Tend to emotional well-being of the child
- Prepare child for naps/rest periods
- Dressing and bathing child
- Sterilizing/preparing bottles for baby
- Organise and supervise child’s activities
- Bring child to and from appointments/activities
- Diaper changing
- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties


Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Client focus, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Time management, Patience, Honesty


Salary: $15.75/hour
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Tuesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Wednesday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Thursday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Friday: 09h00-17h00 with breaks
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
