Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of two children (3 year old and newborn) during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Tend to emotional well-being of the children
- Assist with morning routine
- Assist with dressing and bathing
- Prepare children for naps/rest periods
- Diaper changing
- Follow parents’ lead with toilet training
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks
- Organise and supervise children’s activities and rest periods
- Care for family pets
- Light housekeeping

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Client focus, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Time management, Patience, Honesty

Salary: $27.50/hour
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: 08h00 – 16h00 with breaks throughout the day
Tuesday: 10h00 – 18h00 with breaks throughout the day
Wednesday: 10h00 – 18h00 with breaks throughout the day
Thursday: 08h00 – 16h00 with breaks throughout the day
Friday: 10h00 – 18h00 with breaks throughout the day
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
