Position: Food counter attendant (NOC 65201)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Morning, Evening, Night, Weedent, Shift
Hourly Wage: $15 per hour
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 4450 Alberta St, Regina SK S4S 6B4
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
• Take customers’ orders
• Serve customers at counters
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Portion and wrap foods
• Package take-out food
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items
• Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties
• Use a cash register to accept payment and give change when required
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Will train
• Previous experience/good understanding of fast-food kitchen setting will be an asset
• Ability to build a good relationship with customers
• Familiarity with the multi-culture work environment
• Well organized; client focus; team player
Language:
• English required
Work conditions:
• Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding; Standing for extended periods
