Red Rock Pizza is seeking a Pizza Cook for our location in Canmore, AB.

Working conditions:

• Wage: $23.00/hour;
• Full-time, permanent job offer;
• Working location: 1005 Cougar Creek Dr., Suite 100, Canmore, AB T1W 1E1, Canada
• 44 hours per week – Day, Evening, Night, Weekend;
• Overtimes are paid at a 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 44 hours in any given week or 8 hours in any given day;
• 4% vacation;
• Benefits: Fee meals, free parking.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description

Duties:
• Prepare pizzas according to the restaurant’s techniques;
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen equipment;
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food;
• Maintain inventory of food, supplies and equipment;
• Plan menus, determine sizes of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs;
• Monitor and order supplies as required;
• Ensure all food is prepared fresh and is of the highest quality;
• Clean kitchen and work areas;
• Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices.

Requirements:
• Must have completed high school;
• Must have at least 2 years of pizza cooking experience;
• A height minimum of 9” is required for this position due to the size of the oven door - so the employee can safely maneuver food inside the oven;
• Must be able to multi-task and plan ahead;
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision and in a fast-paced environment;
• Must be able to work night, and weekend, shifts and be flexible;
• Must be able to speak English;
• Must have good communication and organization skills.
