Job Type: Twelve (12) month term, with the possibility of an extension
Location: Flexible hybrid work environment, with some hours regularly spent at Regina headquarters
Salary Range: $70,000-$86,000 plus benefits

Job Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for all data entry and bookkeeping in the accounting software and maintaining accounting controls. The roles and responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include but are not limited to:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports
• Quarterly government/funding reporting
• Reconcile all bank accounts and credit cards
• Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers within the accounting software QuickBooks
• Prepare journal entries, including accrual and prepaid entries
• Processing of project reimbursement claims and payments
• Payroll:
o Prepare payroll for semi-monthly pay periods
o Prepare annual tax slips for employees and file annual WCB reports
o Work with the software Payworks
• Accounts receivable:
o Create and send out all invoices
o Monitor outstanding payments, send out statements and track collection enquiry responses monthly
o Work with the software Stripe
• Accounts payable:
o Process all incoming invoices for payment, including making payments and monitoring A/P outstanding report

The Ideal Candidate
As the successful candidate, you have previous work experience with the accounting software Quickbooks. You must be able to work with time-sensitive deadlines and have a thorough, detail-orientated and flexible work attitude. Previous experience with completing government returns is preferred.
