New Hourin Ramen, a ramen restaurant serving authentic Japanese Fukuoka Ramen noodles and soup base, is seeking a Restaurant Manager for our Burnaby, downtown Vancouver, and Richmond locations.

Full-time, $34.62 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Bonus available depending on sales performance.
Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled between 9AM and 12AM, as required.

Shifts could be scheduled at the following locations:
#1: Unit 1687-4500 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 2B1
#2: 1226 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1C2
#3: #140-5911 No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC V6X 0K9 (forthcoming location)

Job Description

Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant;
• Establish menu and services to be offered and implement operational procedures accordingly;
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets cash reports and related forms;
• Supervise employees and conduct performance reviews;
• Organize and maintain inventory;
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed;
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation;
• Address customer complaints or concerns;
• Provide customer service as needed.

Requirements:

• Secondary school completion required;
• Minimum 5 years of previous food industry experience;
• Minimum 2 years of previous restaurant management experience is required;
• English language ability is required;
• Japanese language ability is an asset.
