Arrowhead Industries Ltd. is an excavation and maintenance services company based in Revelstoke, BC. We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Operator to join our team.

This is a permanent, full-time position; 30 hours per week; $35.00 per hour.

Job Description

- Inspect and diagnose various heavy-duty equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, rock trucks, wheel loaders, and compactor graders;
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical or hydraulic issues to detect faults and malfunctions;
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and replacement of damaged parts, ensuring all repairs align with budget and operational requirements;
- Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards;
- Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and preventive servicing of equipment;
- Supervise and train staff on the proper operation and maintenance of excavation equipment;
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and completed maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- Completion of an apprenticeship program OR a combination of at least 2 years of work experience in the field as well as some high school, college or industry courses in heavy equipment is required;
- Possess a valid driver's licence (class 5);
- Must be able to work with heavy, large mechanical parts;
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs, willing to work indoor-outdoor;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- English language ability is required.
