Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Tasks
Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparations.
Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals and preparation.
Establish work schedules and procedures.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays.
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour.
Requirements:
Proficient in English language.
Secondary High School graduate certificate.
Experience 1 year to less than 2 years.
