Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of six children (11, 10, 8, 6 and 4 year-old twins) during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Tend to emotional well-being of the children
- Assist with morning and bedtime routines
- Assist with dressing and bathing
- Diaper changing
- Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas
- Preparation of nutritious meals and snacks
- Organise and supervise children’s activities and rest periods
- Light housekeeping

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills

Salary: $16.10/hr
Hours per week: 40 Hours

Two Schedules are available, as described below:

Schedule 1:
Monday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Friday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Saturday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Sunday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day

Schedule 2:
Monday: Off
Tuesday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Wednesday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Thursday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Friday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Saturday: 08h00 – 19h00 with breaks throughout the day
Sunday: Off
