Job Description
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a fine dining restaurant or high-end culinary establishment. Preference over individuals who have experience in winery restaurants.
Extensive knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and fine dining standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
Passion for culinary arts, with a creative approach to food presentation and flavour, specifically combining a winery’s wine products with a restaurant’s dining experience.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of inventory management and cost control.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
