Employment terms
Wage: $21.00 hourly
Terms of employment: Non-seasonal, permanent, full time, 40 hours a week, Morning, Day, Evening, Night
Benefits:
Other benefits: Food allowance and accommodation provided for work outside Halifax; Employees have the option to pay for a benefit plan. Return transportation to job sites outside Halifax provided by employer.

Requirements:
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Will train

Responsibilities/tasks:
• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Clean and pile salvaged materials. Removal of existing flooring, grinding of floors, assisting with miscellaneous tasks including placing materials, cutting materials and cleaning up the job site.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Heavy lifting including moving furniture, garbage and installation materials.
• Mixing of mortars, grouts and adhesives.

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads
Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
