Job Description

We are looking for a caregiver for our elderly mother in Red Deer.

Permanent, Fulltime (35hr/week), To start Immediately

Education
Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate required, additional courses or certifications or post secondary education in related caregiver field would be beneficial

Experience
1 to 6 months of experience


On site
Work must be completed at the physical location, private household. Day, Evening, Weekend. No option to work remotely.

Tasks

- Administer medications to clients as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene to maintain their dignity and comfort.
- Support clients with regular exercise routines, such as daily walks, to promote their physical health and mobility.
- Change non-sterile dressings and provide basic wound care as directed by medical professionals.
- Feed or assist clients with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Provide companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional support to enhance clients well-being.
- Deliver personal care, including toileting, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet clients dietary needs and preferences.
